Although Mo and Jo unexpectedly met for the first time at a speakeasy, nightlife was never really part of their strategy for getting to know one another. Rather, their love, friendship, and partnership unfolded on rolling greens during regular golf excursions, setting the stage for Foreplay Golf by Unomojo.
Bonding over their shared experiences, different skill levels, and passion for golf, Mo and Jo spent countless hours improving their swings and deepening their connection amidst serene backdrops.
Fun Fact: If Mo could change one long-standing rule of golf, it would be allowing golfers to wear their hats backwards.
Despite the insecurity that she lacked significant golf skills, Jo was accustomed to using the sport to seal business deals. When the pair met, Jo shot a 125 and welcomed Mo’s experienced mentorship. She’s made serious gains, recently hitting an impressive 77!
Still today, Mo and Jo’s weekly self-care outings provide uninterrupted time to connect away from phones and daily tasks, and to enjoy fresh air while discussing everything from wild ideas to wildlife. Golf continues to nurture their relationship, and fosters mutual appreciation for their abilities, teaching styles, and communication.
If Unomojo could relive a golf memory forever it would be the round they play at Pebble Beach on December 21, 2021, when Mo got down on one knee.
